Smart Business Festival CZ will look for the answer to the question: What will digital innovation hubs bring?

Prague, October 9, 2019: The fifth annual Smart Business Festival CZ 2019 will be held in Prague in two weeks – an event that aims to present news about new approaches to entrepreneurship, the use of digital innovations for more efficient business operations and examples of good practice in implementing technological innovations into business practice and everyday life of the company. This year, the main sub-theme of the event will be Digital Innovation Mushrooms – a showcase of their services and prospects for working with them.

The Smart Business Festival CZ 2019 is organized by CzechInno in cooperation with partners within the activities of CEEInno –  Central European Digital Innovation Platform as an international meeting with the aim of discussing news and perspectives from the field of digitization of industry, business and society as a whole.

Its main topics this year are:

  • Investing in the digital future (especially SMEs)
  • Security in the digital environment (but also physical security of people and objects using digital technologies)
  • Trust in the digital age (and its limits as well as blockchain as technology reinforcing trust among partners).

The most important sub-theme of this year’s Smart Business Festival CZ 2019 is the Czech Digital Innovation Hubs and how they can contribute to the development of Czech digital business. For the first time in one place, the public will have the opportunity to look at it and discuss their services and how they can help the digital development of business and society as a whole. The event will also include a poll, the results of which will determine the future focus of Digital Innovative Hubs.

Visitors of the festival can also look forward to a lecture given by a foreign guest – an analytical magician and a socio-economic visionary, prof. Peter Staněk from the Slovak Academy of Sciences called Information as the main capital or risk of the future?
