What brought the second festival Export CZ 2014

In Prague on 18-19 6th place second annual event called Festival Export CZ, which is primarily novice Czech exporters and also all those who are looking for their partners in the international trading co. The event was attended by nearly 700 participants who listened to lectures and presentations of 55 speakers and have the opportunity to view the exhibition 51 exhibitors from 18 countries. The festival was opened by the President of the Republic Miloš Zeman.

CzechInno Association organized this second annual event called Festival Export CZ, which is a presentation, information and networking event designed to Czech an exporting SMEs and to all other companies that want to expand abroad or find a Czech partner. The event aims to hold informal meetings of Czech and foreign companies with representatives of government and Czech and foreign institutions to promote exports. The aim of the festival is to promote cooperation in particular with non-traditional foreign territories, which are included in the export strategy for the years 2012 – 2020 and is present both in the form of information on business opportunities in these countries, and through insight into their art, culture and gastronomy, is part of the accompanying program of the Festival.

The festival was opened by the President of the Republic Miloš Zeman, inter alia, in his speech highlighted the role of experienced exporters – export geeks – whose presentations were part of the lecture program of the Festival. The event was held under the auspices of the Minister of Industry and Trade Jana Mladek on whose behalf the action started his advisor on export Milan Hovorka: “I am honored to be represented by the Minister, for whom the topic of exports and exporters support one of the key priorities for the initiation and major events such as the Festival Export CZ. Event since its first year last year the Ministry of Industry and Trade not only monitor, but also to participate in its further development. It is certainly good that there is more movement in the region so important for the Czech economy, which supports informal stakeholder cooperation to promote economic growth and job creation, “he said, among other things, in his opening speech Milan Hovorka.

One of the main technical partner of the festival was Exports CZ Czech Export Bank, which aims to support the financing of export activities. The director of the department of international relations and communication Peter Križan summarizes the role of the Czech Export Bank as follows: “Czech Export Bank a long-term aims in particular to support Czech exports to non-traditional overseas territories, which are challenging for Czech companies. For this reason we supported this year’s Festival Export CZ, which shares our commitment to this. ”

Festival In two days, offered its participants with basic information about the services of the state and institutions to support export and the possibility to participate in the 17 territorial and 12 industry-oriented workshops within which to obtain detailed information on trade with non-European countries, especially in Asia, Africa and America, and typical fields of Czech industry. The whole festival was accompanied by a supporting program under which participants insight into the cultural and gastronomic habits interesting export destinations and tasted as the Turkish kebab, falafel Egyptian, Indonesian coffee, Chilean wine or tequila, Mexican and Panamanian rum. The partners of the cultural program of the festival Export CZ 2014, the Embassy of Mexico in the Czech Republic, Embassy of Indonesia in Prague, Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in Prague and the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Prague and in the social event of the festival so participants had the opportunity to meet with Mexican music and dance represented the music group Mariachi Azteca de Praga and dance hall of Prague, the historic Turkish belly dancer dancing showcased Berrak Yedek with traditional Indonesian polyphony represented by Arny Dulishaputri musician and her ensemble and Cuban salsa dancers danced by Doris Martínez and Maykel Varona.
